Welcome to IFSS Blogerama

So the deal is - every hot and hip and happening website that wants to get people fired up uses blogs. I'm a little blog-illiterate but I am trying to learn. If your ministry is outreach... you gotta learn how to REACH. (And for those of you who do not know - IFSS stands for I Flunked Sunday School)

What will the blog consist of? Ah. Very good question. As far as I know - varied stuff. Sort of a stream of unconciousness glammoring on of stuff that's up. Fer instance...

Last week we were on TBN. TBN is the world's very largest Christian broadcast network. We were WORLDWIDE kiddos! They liked us and are putting us on again!

Isaac - the guy at TBN who was our point of contact - has us back on the air ON HIS BIRTHDAY! Hey, Isaac - Happy Birthday - on August 6th at 2pm Pacific... 5pm Eastern and you do the math on the rest of the world. We're also on twice more that week in late night hours. We are really hoping that - even though those aren't prime time hours - anyone up at that hour watching probably needs to be blessed! Hopefully our little story will do that.

As of this week our website www.IFlunkedSundaySchool.com has a new look and feel. We're selling our DVD's and all the cool tee-shirts and stuff and things are just skimming along beautifully. If you don't have a DVD yet - GET ONE! We can't do the second movie until we get this one tracking really well.

We've also made it super-easy for Churches and other non-profits to get an exhibition license to show the movie legally. Sure, you can get the DVD and just show it - but that isn't legal. Hey. Did you ever READ the FBI warning on the front of those things? When you buy a DVD you have the right to watch it at home but not the right to show it to other people in a big group. That is perceived to diminish sales. ANYWAY - we decided to sell the licensing for a pittance and allow the exhibition group with the license to charge admission or take offerings and so on. Check it out.

Send me an email and I will write about the stuff you want to know. LloydBoydPP@gmail.com is my address (PP is Personal Preacher!!). Hope to hear from you soon!!

Lloyd

My 13 year old son wanted this movie for Christmas and I got it for him. He said it was awesome and couldn't wait to have me watch it. His youth group is having a lock in a few weeks from now and he'd like to share it with his friends, so hopefully we'll get your permission to show it. My husband and I also have several friends in mind that we would like to share the film with...what a great outreach ministry!
